This Privacy Policy explains how Gallopii (“Gallopii”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Gallopii mobile application and the website at gallopii.app (together, the “Service”). Gallopii is an AI-powered horse racing data and analysis platform. We provide data and statistics only; we do not place bets, sell betting tips, or guarantee any outcome.
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information:
- Account information. If you create an account, we collect your email address, a username or display name, and authentication details. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the basic profile information those services share with us.
- Subscription information. If you purchase a Pro subscription, the purchase is processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. We receive a transaction or receipt identifier and your subscription status. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
- Usage data. Information about how you use the Service, such as the races, horses, and screens you view, features you use, and your in-app preferences (for example, your Watchlist).
- Device and technical data. Device type, operating system and version, app version, language and region settings, and a device or installation identifier.
- Push notification tokens. If you enable notifications, we store the token needed to deliver Watchlist and race alerts to your device.
- Diagnostics. Crash reports and performance data that help us keep the Service stable.
2. How We Use Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including race cards, analysis, results, and your Watchlist.
- To create and manage your account and Pro subscription.
- To send push notifications you have requested (for example, when a horse on your Watchlist is due to run, or when there is a non-runner, going change, or jockey change).
- To improve our models, features, and overall product experience through aggregated, statistical analysis.
- To respond to support requests and communicate important Service updates.
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security, or technical issues.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. Legal Bases for Processing
Where the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we process personal data on the following bases: performance of a contract (to provide the Service and your subscription), our legitimate interests (to improve and secure the Service), your consent (for example, for push notifications), and compliance with legal obligations.

- Service providers. Trusted vendors who host our infrastructure, deliver push notifications, process analytics, and provide crash reporting, acting on our behalf under contract.
- App stores. Apple and Google process subscription purchases and manage billing under their own privacy policies.
- Legal and safety. When required by law, regulation, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Gallopii, our users, or others.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you close your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet legal, accounting, or security obligations.

- Notifications. You can turn push notifications on or off at any time in your device settings.
